Watch: 'Nosferatu' Actor Nicholas Hoult Has *This* Erotic Vampire Souvenir from the Shoot

Robert Eggers' remake of "Nosferatu" is about to hit cinema screens, but star Nicholas Hoult has something memorable, and phallic, from the movie framed and hanging on his wall.
You could call him a "stake" holder in the film, given the nature of the souvenir – a prosthetic penis used by actor Bill Skarsgård, who portrays the bloodsucking Count Orlok.
"The actor sat down with co-star Lily-Rose Depp for an interview with Elle, where the onscreen husband and wife asked each other prewritten questions," relates The Hollywood Reporter.
Hoult plays Thomas Hutter, the husband of the Ellen (Depp), for whom Orlok has an insatiable hunger.
"When she asked what is a prop or wardrobe piece he has taken from a set," THR went on to say, "he explained that a recent one was actually a gift from 'Nosferatu' director Robert Eggers." That's right: The prosthetic phallus was Eggers' memento for Hoult, and for a very specific reason.
"There's a scene where Bill Skarsgard is slurping my blood, and Robert Eggers asked afterward, 'How was that for you?,'" Hoult recounted. "And I said, 'I could feel his prosthetic penis on my leg.' And then, as a wrap gift, Rob got it framed, and he sent it to my house."
There was a slight snag when the gift arrived with a broken frame, Hoult went on to say, so he took the fake member in to get it framed anew, asking the clerk, "Can you fix this?" While the man at the frame shop who helped Hoult "kind of didn't even blink the first time," his curiosity eventually got the best of him.
Hoult said that "when I went back to pick it up, I think he'd clocked like how weird it was that I was framing potentially this vampire penis, and he was like, 'Is this some kind of collector's piece?' And I was like, 'Hm, you could say that.'"
Hoult is slated to appear next summer as Lex Luthor in James Gunn's "Superman." David Corenswet stars in the title role, while Rachel Brosnahan plays Lois Lane.
