Watch: Kristen Stewart Opens Up About Queer Ghost Hunter Reality Show

Kristen Stewart, who starred as Princess Diana in Pablo Larraín's "Spencer," is executive producing a reality show she says takes a team of LGBTQ+ ghost hunters to "places I wouldn't go by myself" in search of spirits and specters.
"Along with Scout Productions (the creators of 'Queer Eye'), the actress is executive-producing and narrating Hulu's new docuseries 'Living for the Dead,' featuring five queer ghost hunters as they investigate famed haunted locations around the U.S.," People Magazine detailed.
Saying that her "best friend CJ Romero had this funny idea and now it's a show," Stewart explained that the show "started as a bit of a hypothetical silly pipe dream and now I am so proud to have shepherded something that is as moving and meaningful as it is truly a gay old time."
A spooky gay old time, that is; the show centers around "Five queer ghost hunters," a synopsis on Hulu's site explains, as they "crisscross the country, helping the living by healing the dead" – whatever that might mean.
In the course of the series, the ghost hunters "explore some of the world's most infamous haunted locations," the synopsis adds, and as they do, they "shed light on those not seen and illuminate untold stories."
The five-member cast "includ[es] Alex Le May, Juju Bae, Ken Boggle, Logan Taylor and Roz Hernandez," People Mag noted. Stewart, who has publicly identified as bisexual, told the publication that the little crew of supernatural sleuths "makes me laugh and cry and they had the courage and heart to take us places I wouldn't go by myself."
"And it's a super cool maiden voyage for the company I've started with my partners Dylan Meyer and Maggie McLean," the "Twilight" star added.
Stewart, who is engaged to her girlfriend Dylan Meyer, is no stranger to LGBTQ+ television projects. She starred as one half of a lesbian couple in the 2020 Hulu holiday rom-com "Happiest Season," which was co-written and directed by out actor and filmmaker Clea DuVall.
