Gay Porn Star Arrested for Felony Extortion in FBI Sting

Undercover FBI agents arrested Teofil Brank, a gay porn star who performs under the name Jarec Wentworth, on March 4 for extorting a man out of $500,000 and a car worth nearly $200,000, Str8UpGayPorn (extremely NSFW) reports.
Brank, who has done porn for adult gay sites Sean Cody and Men.com, was arrested after he allegedly threatened to expose the unnamed victim's "sexual liaisons" by making the information public on social media.
Brank, 26, successfully blackmailed the man out of $500,000 in cash and an Audi R8 valued at $180,000. He then demanded the man give him another million dollars as well as a condo - but that's when the victim turned to the FBI for help.
The feds set up a sting operation at a Los Angeles Starbucks on March 4 where they arrested the porn star. Authorities found a loaded .357 magnum revolver and additional ammunition inside Brank's car.
Str8UpGayPorn obtained the FBI's affidavit, which reports that Brank, who happened to play a detective in a recent porno, allegedly made his threats via text message and said he would use his Twitter account, @JarecWentworth, to expose the man.
Here are some of the texts he allegedly wrote to the victim:
- I do have a twitter and your photos. Lies can be made or Maybe it's the truth
- Check my twitter, the conversation will grown [sic] and questions will be asked. You lied to me and treated me like shit. I asked again and you put it behind you. Now it's biting your ass
- I want a new car, motorcycle, and both hands full of cash
- I want a condo here in LA. Bachelor pad. You have a taste I like. 2 bed Max. Perfer [sic] one. I want 300,000 cash. You can and will. I want this ASAP like yesterday. So you can be at peace.
According to the report, Brank was denied bail due to high flight risk and being a threat to the public. Str8UpGayPorn reports he is currently in custody of U.S. Marshals and will be arraigned Thursday, March 26 in United States District Court in Los Angeles. During this hearing, official charges will be filed against Brank, who will remain in federal custody until his trial.
If convicted, Brank faces up to 15 years in prison - possibly longer because of the gun authorities found.
According to Str8UpGayPorn, Brank has done nearly 70 gay porn scenes since he started in the industry with Sean Cody in 2010.
It was reported last year that Men.com porn star Johnny Rapid, who offered Justin Bieber $2 million to do a sex scene with him, was arrested on Dec. 15, 2014, for allegedly choking and assaulting his girlfriend after she refused to arrange a threesome between her, Rapid and a 14-year-old girl on Oct. 9.
