On Saturday and Sunday the Equality Park Garden Club presented the annual "A Tropical Plant Fair" at the Pride Center at Equality Park and once again it was a huge success. Saturday night, I did a quick romp around Wilton Manors starting at 11 pm. I started at Hunters were the crowd was already filling up the dance floor and then went to Alibi for their Bear night where I saw some sexy Bear dancers and had a chance to chat with owner Johnny. Afterwards I went to Rumors, where their new patio was packed and ran into some friends and chatted for a while. I then went to Progress Bar and hung out with my friends DJ AJ Reddy and manager Albie. I then ended up at Manor, where they were featuring their monthly "Mizz Cori's Fierce Queens party" and it was packed in every room. It was a fun Saturday night!
On Sunday there were two not for profit events happening. The first was the Equality Florida's annual Miami Gala, at the beautiful Perez Art Museum Miami. The event included sumptuous hors d'oeuvres, delicious cocktails, and their annual "State of the State" address by Equality Florida's CEO Nadine Smith. Congrats again to EQFL for another spectacular gala. Also on Sunday, The Anita Priest Whispering Angels Foundation and Unity Coalition presented their annual "A Night To Remember" at Lips.
