From starring in the movie "Bridesmaids" to playing best friends in "Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar," comedic duo Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo are now teaming up for another film about Cinderella's evil stepsisters.

As reported by Deadline, Wiig and Mumolo will co-write the film as a live-action movie for Disney. However, no word yet on who is starring.

The movie is described as a "musical comedy" centering on stepsisters Anastasia and Dizella, according to Deadline.

"The musical comedy will be a re-imagining of the fairytale from their perspective," writes the outlet. "The project is just one of handful in which Disney is putting its famous antagonists front and center."

A Cruella de Vil focused film starring Emma Stone will be out in May, and the studio is also reportedly working on others. Deadline writes: "The studio is also developing Gaston and LeFou, a "Beauty and the Beast" prequel TV series for Disney+ with Luke Evans and Josh Gad reprising their roles."
