Wednesday March 16, 2022

The following is a press release form LA Pride:

We are thrilled to announce six-time Grammy Award winner and longtime LGBTQIA+ ally Christina Aguilera will headline "LA Pride in the Park," LA Pride's official in-person music event.

The multi-stage event will be Saturday, June 11 at Los Angeles State Historic Park. With over 30 acres of gorgeous green lawn and a capacity for 25,000, this show has the potential to be the largest Official Pride concert in the country.

Early bird tickets are available starting today. General admission passes for the entire day start at $35 per person, and a limited number of VIP tickets with a slew of perks start at $200 per person. Ticketed attendees will receive an RFID wristband to allow for contactless entry. Additional artists will also be announced in the coming weeks.

In addition to the Saturday LA Pride in the Park music event, a free Friday Community Day will be held at the park on June 10. Details about free Friday entertainment, attractions, exhibitors, and features for the youth, sober, leather, and other communities coming soon!

LA Pride in the Park is produced by DPS, with creative and marketing by BMF.

And in Parade news...

The one and only, official and iconic LA PRIDE PARADE is confirmed for Sunday, June 12 in Hollywood.

In 1970, we organized a parade on Hollywood Blvd. to commemorate the first anniversary of the Stonewall Riots. We had to file a lawsuit to get that parade permit, and with the help of the ACLU, we made history when we won. Join us SUNDAY, JUNE 12 as we bring the parade back to our roots on Hollywood Boulevard.

Community groups, sports teams, nonprofits, schools, performance groups, marching bands, local small businesses, and anyone who's dying to show off their homemade float skills are welcome to apply to be in the parade! Application deadline is April 4.

All official LA Pride events will follow health and safety guidance as outlined by LA County health officials and the CDC.
