Billy Porter is set to appear on an episode of "Sesame Street" and will wear the stunning gown he wore to the Oscars last year, sparking outrage from many, including a state senator from Arkansas. But the "Pose" star has a message for his haters, Page Six reports.

The iconic children's show's announced on social media last week that Porter will be on Season 51, "bringing those fierce vibes" to "Sesame Street." Photos show Porter in his Christian Siriano tuxedo dress as he hangs out on the show's set and poses with Elmo.

One of the people who are taking issue with Porter's appearance on the show is Republican state senator Jason Rapert, who took to Facebook to shares his thoughts.

"What do you think I should do about this as your state senator? Do you approve of your taxpayer dollars being used to promote the radical LGBTQ agenda?" he wrote, also sharing an article from the Christian website Life Site News, which calls Porter a "cross-dressing LGBTQ activist."

There is also a Life Site News petition to have the episode pulled and accused "Sesame Street" of trying to "sexualize children using drag queens." As of this writing, the petition has nearly 48,000 signatures.

Porter spoke to Page Six about the drama and called out his haters.

"If you don't like it, don't watch it," he said, adding he thinks it's odd that people would connect him wearing a dress to "perverted demon sex."

"Like, what about me singing with a penguin [on the show] has anything to do with what I'm doing in my bedroom?" he added. "The really interesting thing for me is that that's what it's all about when it comes to LGBTQ people — the first thing everyone wants to talk about is how we having sex."

"Stay out of my bedroom and you will be fine — that is none of your business," Porter told Page Six.
