Backlash to the proposed straight Pride parade has been fervent, with celebs like Chris Evans taking to Twitter to voice their opposition. Now, Brad Pitt has made it clear he wants no part of the straight Pride movement either, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The group behind straight Pride, Super Happy Fun America unofficially claimed Pitt to be their mascot, which he was none too happy about. The star is responding to the straight Pride website using his image without authorization accompanied by the statement: "Congratulations to Mr. Pitt for being the face of this important civil rights movement." Yahoo Finance reports that Pitt has "reached out" and said "further action could be taken" if the group does not comply.
