About:

Pride has come to the North Shore with a free, all-ages dance party hosted by Conni Smudge at the picturesque pier at Shipbuilder's Square. For the past 3 years, Vancouver Pride Society has partnered with the City of North Vancouver to create the first public PRIDE party on the North Shore and we are excited to bring it back in 2019!

We work with a North Shore LGBTQAI2S+ youth advisory committee to plan Pride at the Pier - the youth have spoken and we are bringing you what you want!

Dance along the water to local queer DJ's, be dazzled by daring drag performances, and hit up one of our craft and activity stations. Need a dancing break? Grab your friends and play a giant-sized game and visit one of our many food trucks and eat beside the water. Whether you are young, or just young at hear, we welcome you to come celebrate Pride at the pier.

Enjoy dinner before you dance - Tacofino Vancouver and Chickpea Food Truck will be dishing up dinner while 7-Eleven Canada's Slurpee Truck will be serving up your favourite flavours.
